So much has been going on since my last blog so many months go!
Quick up date on Boogie! Walking, talking, and eating me out of house and home. Right now he is approx. 23 ish lbs, and to smart for his own good! He is going to daycare one day a week but that will be ending soon as he has been constantly sick and hasn’t fully recovered from the H1N1 yet.
Sports Guy is still moving his way up the evil empire’s corporate ladder and still watching his sports. October is the “sports orgasm” – football, hockey and baseball.
My little Etsy shop is closed for now, but I have plans on opening it up later on in the spring. Way too much work has to go into a successful shop and right now, with Boogie being sick so much, so not worth the effort.
I have decided on that I want to blog more, but I need to have a theme. Unlike Audiochick’s 365 blogs/pics endeavour for the 2009 year, I think i am going to attempt to blog about my year of only knitting from my decent sized stash! It is well contained in rubbermaid container but has grown to a few small shopping bags that have been hidden in my closet.
I have compiled some simple rules to make it more of a challenge:
1) This crazy idea of mine will begin Jan. 1, 2010 to Dec. 31, 2010.
2) As of Jan. 1, NO MORE YARN, WOOL, or FIBER is to be added to said stash in any way shape or form that means no swaps that involve buying/receiving new stuff or “regifting” of fibre from stash.
2a). All stash must be inventoried in my Raverly Stash page prior to Jan. 1 – pictures may be added at a later date if need be.
2b) If a project requires the purchase of more yarn/fiber, it will be handled on a case by case basis – for example a dye lot is going to become non existent and it will be need for project that is currently on the needles.
3) A before and after pictures of stash in one area will be taken and posted in the blog.
4) All knitted and/or crochet items must be blogged about as well as logged in the Project page of the Ravelry site.
5) All finished items can be gifted accordingly or kept for my own pleasure.
6) A list of prospective projects must be posted and updated accordingly!
Can’t you tell it’s 330 am and I had two cups of coffee today coming and going from A.Dot?
